Good health at Symphony begins on admission with development of an individualized service plan for each resident. This plan is reviewed every six months or in case of a change in overall health. By updating the plan when a resident’s needs change, we ensure that the care your family member is receiving is the very best it can be.
In addition to the daily oversight of our caregivers, we provide a variety of medical services in-house. This not only means that potential problems can be dealt with more quickly but eliminates the need to travel to appointments. In-house services include:
- Regular visits by primary care physicians
- Mobile dentistry
- Mobile X-ray services if needed
- Podiatry appointments
- Medication deliveries and refills
We also encourage our residents to maintain their strength and balance through a variety of activities and exercise classes.
All of our meals are planned by a dietitian to ensure that they are not only appetizing but healthy. We can accommodate most special dietary concerns.
